Hamas blames financial crisis on you-know-who

AFP reports:

The Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas which rules the Gaza Strip on Tuesday blamed what it called a “Jewish lobby” in the US for the global financial crisis.

Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhum said in a statement that the crisis was due to “bad administrative and financial management and a bad banking system put into place and controlled by the Jewish lobby.”

While pumping hundreds of billions of dollars into a rescue package, US President George W. Bush has remained silent about “the Jewish lobby that put the US banking and financial sector into place,” he said.

Ah, but never mind. John Molyneux of the Socialist Workers Party assures us that Hamas members who say this, and supporters who believe it, are still “more progressive than an educated liberal atheist Israeli who supports Zionism (even critically).”

I notice that Iceland has basically gone bust today. Not the scurvy inducing foodstore but the entire country.

It therefore cannot be an accident that although

The Jewish community in Iceland today is almost non-existent.

I think Hamas and the SWP should know that

Religious observance is very liberal and the community uses a printed Torah scroll. In recent years there have been four bar- and bat mitzvahs in Reykjavík. The Jewish community has discussed applying for registration as a religious organization, but there has never been sufficient interest to do so.

There are Jewish singles tours to Iceland, with a Shabbat service in a geothermal lagoon. There are reports of Jews being buried in the old cemetery in Reykjavík and of headstones engraved with the Star of David. However, the Star of David was used by the Freemasons and does not prove any connection to Judaism.

Despite the tiny population of Jews in Iceland, the First Lady of Iceland is Dorrit Moussaieff. She is an Israeli Bukharian Jew. Moussaieff has also introduced the Jewish culture to Iceland in a very positive way.

Four Bar Mitzvahs and Zionist infiltration.
A decent SWP activist cannot fail to join the dots.

Its still shocking that people in Europe/US advocate having talks with these people and/or support them. Can you imagine the spokesman of say, France, getting up and saying something like that? I’ve come to the conclusion that its really a form of racism - some people must really think that the Hamas people (or Arabs or Iranians etc) are that stupid that it excuses virtually anything they say. Very grim if you sensibly consider what peace prospects you have with this outfit.

David Herman - explains your deviation from tradition then! :)

In the light of the historical comparisons with the pre-WW2 depression, which at the time was blamed on Jews by anti semites and led to the rise of the Nazis, these sentiments are deeply worrying.

This time the far left are aiding them to power.

Just to set the record straight, Kofi is not guilty of inaction about the Genocide in Rawanda. Informend about the intention to commit genocide, Kofi actually ordered the UN peacekeepers in place to not intervene. Kofi is actually guilty of facilitating genocide in Rawanda.

http://www.opinionjournal.com/editorial/feature.html?id=110006052

“It did not have to happen. Gen. Romeo Dallaire, the U.N.’s force commander in Rwanda, sent Mr. Annan a series of desperate faxes including one warning that Hutu militias “could kill up to 1,000″ Tutsis “in 20 minutes” and others pleading for authority to protect vulnerable civilians. But at the crucial moment,Mr. Annan ordered his general to stand down and to vigorously protect, not genocide victims, assembled in their numbers waiting to die, but the U.N.’s image of “impartiality.”” (Emphasis mine)

David All

And Kofi was elected Secretary-General of the UN because in helping the Rwanda Genocide he was following the wishes of the major powers including the United States who did not want to be involved in Rwanda.

Joe

David All,

It will be Clinton’s everlasting shame that America did not intervene in Rawanda. Indeed whatever else good he may have done in his Presidency will never exonerate him or his administration for their failure to act.

Now, what about the rest of the world?

Two men and a boy were arrested today after anti-Semitic spray-painted messages were discovered on the exterior signs of two Jewish institutions in Pikesville over the weekend, Baltimore County police said.

One of the men is a member of Baltimore Hebrew Congregation in the 5500 block of Slade Ave,. where the word Nazi and a swastika were spray-painted on signs, said Cpl. Michael Hill, a police spokesman. Signs at Beth Tfiloh Community School in the 3300 block of Old Court Road were similarly defaced.

Progressive Frenchmen seem to think that poorly Turks and Mid-Easterners, some living on welfare, are much better economic motors than highly skilled and motivated natives!

I have the emotional age of a 14 year old.

I find it almost impossible to make a point without swearing or obscenity.

I divide the world into the categories of ‘friend’ and ‘Neo-con’.

I think of ‘Zionists’ and ‘Zionism’ very much as more conventional antisemites thought of ‘Jews’ and ‘Judaism’ before the state of Israel existed.

I am a westerner exploiting the oil wealth of Venezuela by virtue of the fact. I am in fact very lonely, most Venezuelans I know think I’m a tosser, and a failure back where I came from, even if they are not going to say it while they exploit me. That is why I spend so much of my time here working out my unhappiness.

That being the case, why is anyone surprised at this?
