Biden and Murtha get payback
Joe Biden (who spoke with strange assurance about Barack Obama being tested by a generated foreign crisis early in his presidency) and Congressman John Murtha (who called residents of his western Pennsylvania district racists) get some payback on Saturday Night Live.
Biden has a sometimes unfortunate habit of saying aloud whatever happens to be in his mind at the moment. On the other hand, I find John McCain’s assertion that “I am going to test them. They are not going to test me” far more unsettling. (Who is he going to test? And how?)
SNL also offers a preview of Obama’s half-hour advertisement on prime-time TV next Wednesday, featuring some very special guests.
Update: Geez, the Sarah Palin impersonators are everywhere.

Dems hate it when they get asked difficult questions http://foxforum.blogs.foxnews.com/2008/10/25/you-decide-biden-interviewer/
So, the campaign have now refused the station any contact with them. The audacity of a news host of asking Biden if Obama wants to create a socialist country – like Sweden or re-distribute the wealth like Marx. You can’t ask the Dems these questions – because they won’t allow it.
Also, the Birth Certificate issue could run big in the next week.
26 October 2008, 7:35 pm
BTW they don’t need SNL to make fun of them. They did that themselves.
26 October 2008, 7:40 pm
Cheers, Gene. Good stuff.
On Biden, I tend to think Biden was just getting carried away with himself rather than refering to some type of intelligence material (he gets to see the same intelligence as Bush) but it does raise some interesting questions.
In all likelyhood Obama will have to do something or other to prove his national security status and show that he is not a pushover. However with McCain almost the opposite is true – just not bombing Iran would be seen as a gesture of goodwill.
It may well be the case that some type of military conflict is much more likely during the next year if Obama, as expected, is elected, which is food for thought for all those peace-nic supporters.

If it wasn’t for the Somalia shambles he probably would have sent a lot of troops to other places as well.

It would seem only fair to allow Barry Soerto’s paternal grandma to have her say about the pride she has for her Kenyan grandson running for President http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=78931
Is it a Republican Conspiracy? No! Philip Berg is a PA Democratic nominee.
Do you know that no-one has produced Obama’s actual birth certificate. (Careful, I have made a deliberate statement to catch your out – will you fall for it?)
BTW – didn’t like your Youtube link. Don’t like Van Halen.
Any reason why his college application is missing?
Any idea why his medical records haven’t been released?
Remember 2005 with the Rathergate letter? A Fake letter about Bush was exposed by bloggers and NOT MSM.

“BTW – didn’t like your Youtube link. Don’t like Van Halen.”

It’s absolutely true about Obama being born in Kenya. The evidence will soon be in the hands of Fox News – Ashley Todd is rushing it to them right now.

Perhaps you could point out where I said that Sweden was a socialist country. It was a question introduced by the news host.

Maven: How does it matter where Obama was born? Gee whiz. His momma was an American citizen. It takes a very strained interpretation of the law to consider him any thing else but natural-born citizen. The maniacs at Daily Kos went thru this same thing some months ago when they discovered McCain was born in the Canal Zone.

Well in that case how come there is an outstanding court case that Obama hasn’t answered. http://www.obamacrimes.com/index.php/component/content/article/2-news/45-press-release-berg-v-obama-dismissed-berg-appealing-to-u-s-supreme-court
Why are his people trying to get it dismissed instead of providing the evidence that there is no case to answer.
This is NOTHING like the 9/11 troofers because here is physical evidence of a compelling explanation why Obama’s original Birth Certificate has not been produced.
Gene, what explanation do you have for his original Birth Certificate gone missing along with his college records and medical records. Its as if Obama doesn’t really exist. That’s it!
We know Obama is a liar. Even in the Biden clip about the questions that you aren’t allowed to ask Democrats Biden tells a lie that Obama never gave $800,000 to ACORN when he knows that the money went to an ACORN associate organisation for the purpose of registering voters – which turns out to be full of fraud.
He lied when he referred to Ayers as “someone in my neighbourhood” when his association was much deeper.

Maven: How does it matter where Obama was born? Gee whiz. His momma was an American citizen.
Yes. But if Obama was born outside the USA then her age misses the qualifying period for an off-spring to automatically become a USA citizen by a number of months. Its something about your age and how many years you were domiciled in the USA.
26 October 2008, 8:38 pm
“I detect a whiff of desperation.”
The McCain campaign in microcosm. The one downside about an election I’m enoying *immensely* is that a largely decent man had to go out like that.

Its absence can incriminate Obama if he has falsely stated he is an American citizen when he isn’t.
If his college and medical records allude to any other nationality but American then they might incriminate him on the same basis.
Why doesn’t Obama have a Birth Certificate. (Aw! Syd didn’t bite)

My last comment on the birth business:
The local Honolulu newspaper reported the birth of a son on August 4 to “Mr. and Mrs. Barack H. Obama, 6085 Kalanianaole Hwy.” among several others in the edition of August 13, 1961.
Ah, but perhaps it was another Mr. and Mrs. Barack H. Obama who happened to live in Honolulu and have a son on the same day. Or perhaps sinister elements planted that item, knowing that Barack H. Obama Jr. (possibly created in a laboratory on a remote foreign island) would be groomed to run for president to serve who-knows-what evil masters and would need a plausible backstory to make him constitutionally eligible. Or…

Now go to the original website of the person who discovered this announcement and they cast doubts over a number of things, one being that the announcement was planted at the date and time to try and secure Obama a US Citizenship. Not, as is snidely presented, that someone knew Obama would run for President but to secure an American citizenship for his American mother who may have realised that Obama didnt qualify for it if he was born in Kenya.
No, the matter isn’t concluded.

Look, I know that the claim about Obama’s true place of birth is an incredible story. If this were the only claim about Obama and if the claim came from a 9/11 troofer nut I wouldn’t go anywhere near this.
But, since its a claim by a democratic nominee and since Obama’s history has other missing pieces like his college records and medical records then a rat is being smelt.
Given that his Bar qualification records omit his previous names then there is a suspicion he has tried a cover-up in his early years.
The fact that the Obama camp has tried to get the lawsuit dismissed instead of answering it is another indicator of something going on.
Let the clock run and let’s see. This “he said, she said” stuff don’t get us anywhere. Neither do the insults. I’ll get me coat!
27 October 2008, 9:48 am
Look Obama has dealt with this. This came up toward end of the Democratic primaries and he released his birth certificate.
Here it is http://www.politifact.com/media/img/graphics/birthCertObama.jpg
Now Mr. Berg who is a 9/11Truther(which should say alot right there) contends that the Hawaii certificate is a fake even though Janice Okubo of the spokeswomen for the Hawaii Department of Health has said till she is blue in the face, “It’s a valid Hawaii state birth certificate,”
Just because this Berg lawsuit is in a federal court doesn’t mean it should be taken seriously. Anybody in America with money and an attorney can file a lawsuit.
I might also add that Hotair.com which is one of the most conservative and anti-Obama wesbites says this whole Obama birth certificate thing is baloney.

27 October 2008, 11:44 am
Look Obama has dealt with this. This came up toward end of the Democratic primaries and he released his birth certificate.
That is NOT a birth certificate. Its a Certificate Of Live Birth. There is only one birth certificate and that is issued contemporaneuos with the birth. This certificate was re-printed many years after thebirth as can be discovered by its serial number and there are fraud investigators who have done analytics on the images of this COLB and state that its a contruction.
Its is a true statement that Obama has not provided his birth certificate.
27 October 2008, 1:08 pm
There is no substantive difference between someone born in Hawaii and someone born in Kenya but who was in Hawaii scant months later (as even you are not barking enough to deny); especially as they had an American mother and have spent over 4/5 of his life living and working in America.
So, quit with the racism, Maven. Yes, it is racism. No, on second thoughts, carry on. It’s worked so well for the Democrat ticket.
27 October 2008, 1:26 pm
Maven can be grateful that Gene has spared his blushes by deleting his little assassination fantasy.
27 October 2008, 1:50 pm
Maven,
I dare say, most people can’t put there hands on their original birth certifciate.
What happens if you applied to get your records, in most states you’d get what Obama has – a certification of live birth spit out from a computer system. I doubt Hawaii has the original record any longer, either. The certification proves citizenship well enough to get a passport.
27 October 2008, 2:08 pm
Maven can be grateful that Gene has spared his blushes by deleting his little assassination fantasy.
Then let me repeat what I said.
I said that I had a funny feeling that Obama wouldn’t be on the swearing-in podium in January.
In the context of what I have already been arguing then its obvious that the sense is that maybe his lack of birth certificate will become an issue AFTER the election and hence he won’t be on the podium.
Some of you must be real childish to take any other meaning. AND I left it as an enigmatic comment to see what the reaction might be. And you took the bait!!
I have absolutely NO desire for any harm to come to Obama and I do NOT subscribe to any theiories that right-wing Patriots have any desire to do him harm him or assassinate him.
I think any fall he has will be by scandal and sheer incompetence if he become President.
27 October 2008, 2:12 pm
I think any fall he has will be by scandal and sheer incompetence if he become President.
So kind of like most of the other presidents the US has had, certainly the last two
27 October 2008, 2:12 pm
“I have absolutely NO desire for any harm to come to Obama and I do NOT subscribe to any theiories that right-wing Patriots have any desire to do him harm him or assassinate him.”
Obviously no patriot would even consider assassinating him, since he would be the democratically elected President of the nation. Curious you’d characterise even a hypothetical assassin this way, though, rather than as a terrorist or murderer.
27 October 2008, 2:17 pm
“AND I left it as an enigmatic comment to see what the reaction might be. And you took the bait!!”
No, you left a deliberately ambiguous comment that hinted (not for the first time) that one of your brave heroes might decide to off Obama, rather than let him fulfil his mandate. And I didn’t take the bait, I replied. That’s how it works on a blog, see?
27 October 2008, 2:22 pm
There is no substantive difference between someone born in Hawaii and someone born in Kenya but who was in Hawaii scant months later (as even you are not barking enough to deny); especially as they had an American mother and have spent over 4/5 of his life living and working in America.
So, quit with the racism, Maven. Yes, it is racism. No, on second thoughts, carry on. It’s worked so well for the Democrat ticket.
BOLLOCKS!!!!! Having an American mother (suprisingly) doesn’t grant you American citizenship. The rules about the citizenship of a child born outside the USA require the mother to have lived in the USA for a requisite number of years and attain a particular age. As I understand it, If Obama were born in Kenya then he wouldn’t have qualified.
Look I suppose I should leave this alone. I repeat that this idea of Obama not being a USA citizen would be wacky if it were the ONLY thing that is murky about Obama’s early days.
I persist in acknowledging the possibility because his college and medical records remain a secret.
Let’s drop this Birth Certificate discussion.
So, why is his medical record and college records not available for public scrutiny.
BTW – Gene, did you know that Biden has had two aneurisms http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=940DE5D81739F937A35756C0A96E948260 – could this explain his erratic behaviour? A lot of people don’t survive even one.

So, Liberty is telling people what they don’t want to hear – unless it spoils Gene’s shill for Obama – in which case, just like the Democrats would do – they would censor the message.
Next it will be banning just like the Dems did to the Florida tv station that had the audacity to ask Joe “two aneurisms” Biden tough questions.
Look, i’ll butt out of this one if people wouldn’t keep making snide remarks that require me to offer a defence.

Poor Garbo, forever tortured by the attentions of her inferiors.
You could, of course, desist from piling into every thread about the US elections, rehashing long-discredited lies (to the embarrassment even of your own ’side’) and generally indulging in the counter-productive bullshit that has served the Republicans so well this year.
Try giving it a go and see just how quickly we forget you.

Fuck, I didn’t imagine that, Sy. Even Mad Mel wouldn’t have voiced that piece of unthinkableness.
So, Liberty is telling people what they don’t want to hear – unless it spoils Gene’s shill for Obama – in which case, just like the Democrats would do – they would censor the message.
We are hearing what you’re telling us. We are responding. Threats of political assassination are another matter.
