Scottish Islamic Foundation tightens stranglehold over Scottish Muslims

This is a guest post by Ibn al-Waleed

In the last year the Scottish Islamic Foundation has made great strides towards becoming the Scottish version of the Muslim Council of Britain – albeit inspired by the Muslim Brotherhood rather than Jamaat-e-Islami.

Osama Saeed, the SIF’s founder, has so far persuaded the Scottish National Party to give the group almost £400,000 of public funds. In return, Saeed has promised the SNP that – given enough money – he can persuade Scottish Muslims to embrace Scottish Nationalism and turn their backs on Labour – the traditional recipient of Scottish Muslims’ votes.

What the Scottish government may have overlooked is that Osama Saeed, a former member of the Muslim Association of Britain, is a committed Muslim Brotherhood activist who will shamelessly use public money to promote his own bigoted form of Islamism.

Already, Saeed has invited Kemal Helbawy, the Muslim Brotherhood grandee, to Scotland to lecture young Scottish Muslims. Helbawy recently featured on Harry’s Place after justifying the murder of Israeli children (“future soldiers” in his words). Saeed plans to use more government money to hold a Scottish version of IslamExpo, the Muslim Brotherhood’s biannual London nutter-fest. To this end, Saeed arranged for Islamist bigot Ismail Patel, Muslim Brotherhood sprog Anas al-Tikriti and Hamas representative Mohammed Sawalha to hold talks with Scottish government ministers in Edinburgh on how the “success” of IslamExpo can be replicated in Scotland.

However it now appears that Saeed has decided that such sporadic actions are not enough. Saeed has now persuaded the Scottish government to put the SIF in charge of deciding which Muslim groups receive money from Scotland’s ‘Youth Development Fund’. This puts Saeed and his group in a position to decide which elements of the Scottish Muslim community thrive and which fail.

This absurd and profoundly undemocratic situation is elaborated on the SIF’s website. This states that Muslim youth groups applying for government money should send their applications to Faisal Hussein (the SIF’s youth director) whereupon their application will be “assessed by the [SIF’s] Board of Directors”. Applications that survive this initial assessment will then “be the subject of an assessment meeting with a member of Scottish-Islamic Foundation staff.”

So what sort of youth work might the SIF approve? And to which groups will they grant government money? Osama Saeed is himself on record as:

-          Supporting a Caliphate (“a restored caliphate is entirely compatible with democratically accountable institutions”)

-          Defending religiously mandate punishments (“The aim of Islamic law, contrary to popular belief, is not punishment by death or amputation of body parts. It is to create a peaceful and just society”)

-          Calling for censorship of offensive cartoons (“You just don’t do pictures of the Prophet, period. It’s a cultural thing, accept it and respect it”)

-          Encouraging resistance against the police (“Their job is to always push the boat out, to push the limits they can push, to come out and snoop and to erode freedoms. But our job equally is to resist that, and resist that we must”).

This does not inspire confidence. Helpfully, the SIF’s website also lists what sort of youth projects it might allow to receive government funds. These include “developing Scouts group that cater for muslim religious sensitivities” and the “development of local madrasah through policies, disclosure and training”

Conveniently the Saeed clan has already been involved in such issues for some years. Unfortunately, however, the Saeed family’s actions and statements in these fields reveal a hardcore Islamist agenda which repeatedly emphasises the need for Muslims and non-Muslims to be strictly segregated in order to prevent the corruption of the former by the latter. For example, Sohaib Saeed (Osama’s brother) has previously set up the UK’s first Muslim only Scout troop (Muslim prayers are said and the oath of loyalty to the Queen has been dropped) while Akhtar Saeed Bhutta (Osama and Suhaib’s dad) has campaigned for Muslim-state schools – he argues that Muslim children who attend ordinary schools may be “corrupted”.

The odious and self-serving arrangement between the SIF and the SNP has been increasingly obvious for some time. However this recent development reveals new levels of spinelessness by the Scottish government. Previously the SNP had seemed willing to merely turn a blind eye to the more unpleasant aspects of Islamist thought. Now, however, it is clear that the SNP is willing to go much further than this and is actively empowering the Muslim Brotherhood’s followers and giving them to tools to crack down and stifle the dissent, diversity and freedom in Scotland’s Muslim communities.

And it is this utter contempt for Scottish Muslims which is truely unforgivable.

Ibn, I apologise for a little humour. I do take your report very seriously and it does show a consistent creep of Islamification of parts of Scotland.

I find it suprising that there isn’t lots of dissent from the Scottish people who are known for their sectarian views and forthright expression of them.

If you care to read the website correctly, then you will find that this is in conjunction with the Voluntary Action Fund money. SIF are simply redistributing the money they have already recieved to the grassroots community. Seems like a good idea to me…

Just highlights how you muppets have an agenda. You lot are nothing but a bunch of moronic Islamophobic imbeciles.

I attended SIF’s AGM and what struck me was how few turned up to it. There are reputedly 40,000 – 60,000 Muslims in the Glasgow area, but the audience that finally turned up to hear star speaker Tariq Ramadan didn’t number more than 100… they were expecting 2000.

Those that I spoke to at the event struck me as quite wide ranging. OK it could all be window-dressing, it was open to the public after all, but it seemed to me that SIF (a) didn’t have much traction with the wider Muslim community, and (b) they were trying to reach out to non-MB elements. Of course, that could be with the agenda of getting them on board.

The madrasah schools struck me as the creepiest element as there will be no supervision of it.

The scout troop thing is a bit weird also. There they are in their Muslim only club, wearing khaki shorts and doing woodcraft. I still can figure out who’s colonising who.

But there has been hostility amongst Muslims as to the SIF grant. Several organisations complained that their bids were unsuccessful and why should SIF get this money? So all in all, despite Saeed’s agenda, I would say he’s having more success with Alex Salmond and the left-wing secular media than with real Muslims in Scotland.

‘Will Saeed and his crew start to boycott Rabbi Burns night?’

No, he’s too clever for that. He wants to hold a ‘Burns-Iqbal’ supper (Iqbal is Pakistan’s poet) with halal haggis and ‘address to the sisters’.

Just to show how integrated he is, really.

Did you mean, ‘Rabbi’ BTW?

Again, one visit to the website shows that Tariq Ramadhan spoke at a conference on Muslim youth at Hampden Park – not an AGM.

“Several organisations complained that their bids were unsuccessful and why should SIF get this money?” – NAME THEM. What organisations complained they didn’t get money?

They are trying to engage with society and you think there is an agenda behind it!

Caught between a rock and a hard place is the phrase that springs to mind. Muslims seem to get criticised for not speaking out against terrorism and playing their part in society. And when they try to do speak out (SIF – rally against Glasgow Airport, Mumbai attacks), they are vilified for having an “agenda”.

Honest to god. They can’t win. I would like to meet Mr Saeed before I form an opinion. Can’t say the same for the likes of “Ibn Al-Waleed” or whatever his name is…

It doesn’t surprise me in the least that the SNP would opportunalistically exploit divisions for political gain. I was at Stirling Uni when the film Braveheart received its world premire there and they were right outside the theatre recruiting members following a two hour anti-English fan-fest.

It would not surprise me if the SNP were trying to co-opt Muslim support as a way to deflect their attention away from the “colonized” scots and onto the “Imperialist” oppressor of England ( “Dont blame us we’re like you, blame them” ). The only certainty though is that this is bound to backfire in the long run as radicalization increases and turns it’s attentions onto those who gave it both shelter and succor.

( Mind you a burqa would make it warmer in Winter )

This is a bit weird, so it is.

I find most Muslims in Glasgow fairly apolitical. Who, exactly, is Ibn al-Waleed?

The agenda of the Scottish Muslim Foundation seems a model for any religious group out there. See here:

1. Freedom

* Promote human rights and civil liberties
* Support freedom of expression and religious practice
* Advocate a just foreign policy that helps create and maintain freedom and democracy

2. Protection of life & respect of people

* Facilitate understanding, cohesion and dialogue between Muslims and non-Muslims
* Promote peace
* Tackle all forms of discrimination and abuse with particular attention to religion, race, and gender
* Improve health
* Protect the environment

3. Education

* Empower Muslims, particularly young Muslims, in civic participation and their contribution to Scotland
* Support the practice of Islam as something that deepens citizenship
* Promote the gaining of knowledge and creativity in all fields, improving educational attainment
* Clarify and explain Islamic beliefs and way of life

4. Strong families and communities

* Support Muslim families in the issues that face them, including marriage and parenting
* Build capacity among Muslim community organisations and institutions

5. Social Justice

* Tackle poverty
* Support equality of opportunity
* Promote Islamic and just financial models

This doesn’t look to me like the enemy at the gate, but there you go.

Doulglas and Ben, yes it is weird. The concern people feel about SIF is I guess the concern we have about Osama Saeed and his friends in the Muslim Brotherhood, his defence of Hamas, his writing an article in the Guardian in defence of the Caliphate, his being a pure politique like his mentor Salmond, his never ceasing to find ‘Muslim’ issues to make political capital out of; his constantly trying to portray Muslims as victims (they’re not in Glasgow, they’re getting on very well there).

The dislike is as much about Salmond, a loathsome man, who would sell his granny if it got him votes. The two of them are very alike.

Ben, there was an earlier article by Barnes which specifically mentioned groups like the Sufis and the Ahmadis, if I remember correctly. Glasgow Muslims are diverse, some are Deobandis, some Barlevis. Salmond wants to franchise the ‘political management’ of the Muslim community in Scotland out to Saeed and his clan, in return for a bloc vote. It’s machine politics of the worst kind.

Also, there is a strong Labour vote amongst Glasgow Muslims which the SNP is trying to erode. But many Muslims remain Labourites so there’s a bit of division over that.

Osama is cunning and non-obvious. You have to see his agenda over a long period and his style to appreciate how he’s trying to pull the wool over people’s eyes. He’s adept at kidding on how reasonable he is, but his promotion of leading MB figures reveals his true agenda, the Islamisation of Scotland by cunning infiltration.

One thing missing from the article is that Salmond has got him onto a committee looking at the abolition of Trident. He’s not even an elected MP! But he is to stand next year for Glasgow Central (SNP).

Salmond is a horrible, horrible man, a curse on Scotland. We deserve better.

Well I’m not sure that they do have more power after the miserable showing at their conference/AGM. Only a few dozen showed up!

SIF I’m gradually coming to think is a bit of a chimera amongst real Muslims. Their influence is really with Salmond. Eddie Barnes got it right when he called it plain old-fashioned cronyism.

The SNP gives money to the SIF to procure Muslim votes Buying votes, this is called. Every inch of ground Islamists gain in controlling or having an authoritative role in British Institutions is dangerous, and may in the long run be fatal. I hope someone is relentlessly pointing out to the SNP exactly what people they have in their midst.

My, all this absurd hatred between Scots, Brits, Welsh! I can only hope it’s an affectionate form of inverted love, like Prince Harry calling a friend a Paki. (What a ridiculous fuss was made out of this). The Irish have not yet been mentioned; who can dislike them?

I’m glad to see, david, that you are deleting and banning bigots and trolls. I think it’s now time to consider further candidates, prime candidate, like Flanker, The Irie and Benjamin. Can you, or any regular other contributor – obviously excluding these three smelly [orthodoxy] characters – point to any occasion when they have helped advance discussion of a question, other than either by inviting a surgical drawing the poison of their views – a wasted process all in vain because they are immune – or by provoking splenetic outbursts that achieve nothing. If you are agreeable to banning trolls and bigots, then surely this trio of spoilers must be among them. How many of us would at all miss them?

You said:”The agenda of the Scottish Muslim Foundation seems a model for any religious group out there. See here”

What you have missed is the order in which things were done.

Saeed and a group of other Muslim activists approached the Labour government with a view to having an Islamfest. To this end, a new organisation was set up called the Muslim Council of Scotland, an umbrella body of different Muslim organisations. Initial negotiations proceeded along these lines.

If you look at back stories throughout 2007, you will see Saeed referred to as “from the Muslim Association of Britain” which then became “the Muslim Association of Scotland” and then “the Muslim Council of Scotland”.

If you also look at the FOI requests published on the FOI website, sometime during this period and after the SNP win, the other representatives were squeezed out, leaving Osama and Humza Yousaf (Osama’s cousin and Bashir Ahmed’s researcher) within the government machine.

Funds were made available for organisations that would help ethnic minorities engage in the political process, with words like ‘health, engagement, freedom, interfaith cohesion’ included in the aims.

Within a few short months Saeed had created the SIF to fit the requirements of this funding. It’s an old trick: if a local authority have a preferred supplier, they simply write the tender request to fit that supplier. The proximity of the Saeed clan to the SNP, the way that the SIF’s documentation and incorporation was handled and where allowed them to stay just within the letter of the law.
.

In short, the SIF paperwork was designed to fit funding criteria developed by the party of which Saeed is a member. It doesn’t look like the enemy at the gate because it is designed not to.

PS

I suspect the reason the SIF are doling out the cash is that they have to pay back any unused cash at the end of this financial year. As the SIF’s money this year has been spent on a few Leadership Training Sessions, their first annual conference and some foreign trips for Saeed and Yousaf (perhaps they get a family discount) to Turkey and Qatar, they may have plenty left.

Callum
  27 January 2009, 1:06 pm

The organization is nothing like the one you have attempted to depict.

It’s work is primarily concerned with promoting ‘community cohesion’ and tackling the impact of racism, particularly Islamophobia in Scotland.

THAT is why the Scottish Government have given them money, because they support those goals.

Harry’s Place may want to see England turned into a racist wasteland where the ‘good Muslims’ have their homes searched for material ‘denying Zion’ but we Scots are quite comfortable with having public figures holding a variety of religious and political viewpoints.

We’re quite open that way. Keep your pernicious Southern racism to yerself.

Devorgilla – Just read the link in the Scotsman – looks like more corrupt Scottish politics at work:

The SIF was set up in January and was established as a company in May. Saeed is the SNP’s Westminster candidate for the Glasgow Central constituency and is a former researcher for Salmond.

The decision to award the RRRI funding was made by SNP Communities Minister Stewart Maxwell. But a spokeswoman for the Scottish Government said last night that the initial assessment for the funding was made by an independent trust.

The SIF was not able to supply all the documentation which applicants for RRRI cash are asked to provide, including their most recent audited accounts and the most recent annual report.

But the Scottish Government spokeswoman said: “Providing every document detailed on the RRRI application form is not a mandatory requirement of securing grant funding. Like every other one of the 33 organisations (that won funding], they provided sufficient information for the process of independent evaluation, led by officials, to take place.”

Along with Saeed, the SIF is being run by several other SNP figures, including SNP researcher Humza Yousaf, MSP Bashir Ahmed and former SNP researcher Noman Tahir. The board also contains members of Saeed’s family.

Following a letter from Labour MSP George Foulkes, the Auditor General is currently considering whether to investigate the funding deal.

Callum: You are talking poop.

The SIF is a Muslim Brotherhood organisation. When I interviewed Helbawy regarding the Ikhwan in the UK, he described Osama Saeed as “our man in Scotland.”

If you read the Al-Ikhwan charter, the methodology is exactly as implemented by Saeed. If you go to their own Flickr site you will see Helbawy lecturing the faithful. On another shot, quotations from Hasan Al Banna, founder of the Ikhwan. Speakers have included Tariq Ramadan, Bana’s grandson and Kaboom Tamimi, who would be a suicide bomber if the Israelis would let him through passport control.

The community cohesion they seek is the cohesion of the Ikhwan. Think of them as the Glasgow Branch of Hamas.
.
.

PS. Calling someone a “southern racist” just makes you look stupid as well as a hypocritical purveyor of verbal poop.

Colin
  27 January 2009, 2:58 pm

Callum – how do you define Islamophobia? Racist? – for instance a hatred of Ghurkas because of their brown skin? Or language – for instance your good King James describing Highlanders saying that ‘the principal cause of their barbarity’ is Gaelic, which was his code for Popery. Which brings me to religion. Did not Scotland not once fear ‘the papish hordes’ [perhaps you'd say with no cause] and was not the reign of Ayatollah Knox once in force in Scotland?

Away with these theocracies, but I must also include Islam as the latest and really thratening brand. Why do you exclude it, especially when it carries with it the noxious smell of Jew baiting?

‘The community cohesion they seek is the cohesion of the Ikhwan. Think of them as the Glasgow Branch of Hamas.’

Spot on Graham.

Talking of Hamas, Ahmed Rehab of CAIR (Chicago branch) was a guest speaker at last November’s annual conference at Hampden, and he could hardly contain his enthusiasm for SIF or Saeed, and praised them again and again, and in his closing remarks, claimed SIF ‘Was the most promising Muslim leadership organisation in the whole of Europe’.

Rehab will be known to HP readers for his links to CAIR and The Holy Land Foundation, a Hamas/MB front in the USA.

Mrs Ben ‘Devorgilla – Just read the link in the Scotsman – looks like more corrupt Scottish politics at work:’

Totally agree, but very dangerous territory for the whole of the UK. If Saeed gets elected next year for Glasgow Central, he will be sitting in Westminster – the first Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas MP.

devorgilla
  27 January 2009, 11:00 pm

Yes, I think we all need to think closely about how we define ‘Islamophobia’.

There is the very wide meaning put about by the Muslim Brotherhood and SIF = ‘any criticism of Islam, its texts, religious figures, or Muslims’. This is tantamout to ending freedom of speech and conscience and western liberal values in general, which is of course the intention, as the effect will be to put Islam on a pedestal, to make it the dominant discourse above all others, totally beyond reproach.

This is also adhered to by Stupid White People on the far left loonie fringe, who chant ‘We’re all Hizbollah/Hamas now’.

Then there is the thankfully somewhat narrower definition to which the police and civil society in Scotland currently adheres, which is when the Muslim faith is an aggravated element in a standard crime.

So daubing graffiti is a crime; if Islam figures in it, ‘Islamophobia’ is present.

Assaulting a person is a crime; if Islam figures in it, Islamophobia is present.

This is the line that must be held. Go beyond that, and ‘respect’ for Islam acts to promote Islam beyond legitimate criticism consistent with a free society.

to my Scot contemporaries , I hear the term “islamo-phobia ” being raised , no doubt in reaction to criticism of muslims and certain muslim speakers . take a look to your south at your Brit cousins , police running from muslim mobs , UK citizens being intimidated and called “white-man ” …..islamic threats of an agenda putting a black flag over Downing Street , take a look at Denmark and especially the Netherlands where Geert Wilders , may soon be arrested and charged with inciting hatred by merely describing and exposing islam for what it is ….islamophobia?? no , islam-AWARENESS .the apologetics seem to be the same everywhere , a strange sort of Stockholm Syndrome seems to be spreading through Western Europe , sympathy and accomodation to those who would give you no quarter whatsoever should the demographics shift in their favor . make no mistake, taqiyya is the order of the day , and it will be your necks on the chopping block ultimately . wake up Scotties , wake up Brits . soon your free speech will be abridged , like the Dutch . PC and Multiculturism will be your fatal mistake , for muslims care not to assimilate , nor when their numbers are right , will they any longer tolerate you …..in your own country .

you think not ? try some objective observation

Jacky

Just an observation, I object to being referred to by Excalibur in this context “take a look to your south at your Brit cousins ” I may be a Brit but so are the Scots and the Welsh and the N.Irish until independance is alloted, but up until then if you call the Scottish, Scots and not Brits, then please stop calling me a Brit, I live south of Scotland in a place called England and I’m English. As to the Muslims just read the Quran to know where all this is heading, or go to one of a number of sites on line and find out the truth of Islam, which incidently does not mean peace as it is said it does, but actually means surrender. Learn about Islam before you loose your country to it.

Excalibur
  30 January 2009, 12:21 pm

Sorry Jacky , ” Brit cousins ” was merely used to denote “connection ” and geographical distinction , as there are just as many Scottsman who resent being called Brits . [and that goes back quite a way]

Pettiness aside , SCOTLAND , will soon be in the same position as ENGLAND , [and that is not good ].

Muslims make no such distinctions , as BOTH , including the IRISH and WELSH are all considered KUFFAR , Lesser human beings , is what Islam plainly teaches , as well as host of other BAD things , Islam is a cult of religious supremacists , who at the end of the day , give all non-muslims a simple ultimatim – live as a dhimmi and pay “jizra ” , convert [ revert as they put it ] , or be killed .

Attitudes such as those expressed by “Ben ” are precisely what has got England and the Netherlands in the situation they find themselves . Attitudes based on denial and ignorance , a desire to be pc and multicultural -at any cost , are already exacting a heavy price .

And it’s not as if the muslims are being secretive about their agenda . The Finsley park mosque has been extolling it’s poison for the past 15 years or so , and the results are coming fast to fruition / anyone who dares raise a warning or criticism , is immediately branded as ” Islamo-phobic ” , by muslims , and their usefull idiots , among non-mulims . Bakri , the bum that was kicked out of the UK , screams it from outside your borders .
Maybe those duped , are unaware that christians fare no better than jews , and they, no better than hindus or atheists – all are “infidels “, all ultimately ,to be subjugated or killed .

“Wilders Prosecution is a Welcome Opportunity to Expose Islam,” by Dr. Sami Alrabaa at Canada Free Press, January 31:

Prosecuting Geert Wilders, member of the Dutch Parliament, is a welcome opportunity to expose fascist Islam and radical Muslims. Wilders and his lawyers do not need to go far away to fetch crystal clear evidence that Islam, i.e. the Koran and Hadeeth incite to violence and hatred, and radical Muslims are behind numerous crimes against humanity.
A summary of quotations from the Koran which clearly incite to hatred and violence can be found in the following link:

There is an abundance of fatwas (religious edicts) by Muslim authorities inciting to genocide and suicide attacks against Christians and Jews. All these fatwas are based on the Koran and Hadeeth.

Ali Gom’a, the grand mufti of Egypt, the highest Muslim religious authority in the world, supports murdering non-Muslims. In the daily Al Ahram (April 7, 2008), he says, “Muslims must kill non-believers wherever they are unless they convert to Islam.” He also compares non-Muslims to apes and pigs, not only the Jews.

Muhammad Sayyid Al Tantawi, president of Al Azhar University also approves of killing and maiming Christians, Jews, and other infidels. He added, “This is not my personal view. This what the Shari’a Law says, the law of Allah, the only valid law on the earth.”

Yousef Al Qaradhawi, the spiritual leader of the fundamentalist organization, the Muslim Brothers, urged on Al Jazeera TV (Jan. 9, 2009) Muslims to kill the Jews, not only in Israel but also worldwide. He added, “No peace can be made between us (Muslims) and the non-believers. This what our holy book says. This what Allah says.”

Saudi Arabia’s Grand Mufti, Sheikh Abdulaziz Bin Abdullah Bin Mohammed al Sheikh said on Iqra’ TV channel, “Killing producers who show women unveiled is legal.”

The Saudi Sheikh Saleh Al-Lehadan, head of the Supreme Judiciary Council, told Al Watan daily, (March 25, 2008) “After getting rid of the Jews in our Arab land, we must turn to the Christians. They have three options: either they convert to Islam, or leave, or pay Jizia (protection taxes). Further, there is not such a thing as Shiites, Sufis, etc. There are only Sunnis. All these sects must renounce their pagan beliefs and return to Sunna, the right path of Islam.”

Most recently, demonstrators in Berlin and Munich, and elsewhere in Germany, raised banners reading, “Hamas! Hamas! Jews to the gas”. The police did not arrest anyone of them and nobody filed a court case against them for inciting to murder which in the German law is punishable.

German apologists like Claudia Roth and Cem Ozdemir (a Muslim of a Turkish decent), chairpersons of the German Green Party, said in a press conference in Berlin (Jan. 20, 2009), “Wilders’ film “Fitna” has contributed to worsening our relations with the Muslims around the globe. Geert Wilders is hurting the feelings of Muslims.”

I said in the conference, “This is not true. I know many Muslims who approve of Wilders’ critique of Islam. They do not feel offended. Only fascist Muslims feel so.” Roth and Ozdemir ignored my remark.

The truth of the matter is “Fitna” is simply reflecting how radical Muslims think and act, inspired and encouraged by the Koran.

Wilders’ comparison of the Koran to Adolf Hitler’s “Mein Kampf” and describing it as a fascist book is not inappropriate. Hitler referred to the Jews as “rats and vermin” and the Koran and fascist Muslims call the Jews “The descendants of apes and pigs”….

Tarek Ramadan visited the Islamic Center in Bilelefeld, Germany (May 21, 2008) and gave a speech. Before he began his speech, he asked if there were any journalists in audience. As the answer was negative, he said, “OK, now I feel free to say what I really want.” Ramadan is well-known for telling his infidel audience something and his Muslim audience another thing.

Ramadan said, “My brothers and sisters, we must exploit the so-called democracy and freedom of speech here in the West to reach our goals. Our Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, and the Koran teach us that we must use every conceivable means and opportunity to defeat the enemies of Allah. Tell the infidels in public, we respect your laws and your constitutions, which we Muslims believe that these are as worthless as the paper they are written on. The only law we must respect and apply is the Shari’a.”

Ramadan added, “The Germans claim that they want to integrate you in their society. We tell them we are going to integrate them in our Umma (Muslim world) after converting them to Islam.”…
