Ken and Hamas

This Saturday Ken Livingstone will appear at a Tower Hamlets meeting organised by the “Palestine Solidarity Campaign” and Viva Palestina, George Galloway’s Hamas support operation.

Other speakers at the meeting include Galloway and Shamiul Joarder of Friends of an Aqsa, the dedicated Israel hatred group headed by Ismail Patel.

The meeting will be held at the Brady Centre, a Tower Hamlets facility which is not very particular about its guests. As we learned in April, even a video message from al Qaeda preacher Anwar al Awlaki is acceptable for the Brady Centre.

The flyer notes that “ways you can get involved in the Viva Palestina convoy this December” will be discussed. This is of course how the first convoy to Gaza ended – with a celebration of Hamas and cash for the terrorists.

As reported here before, one of Viva Palestina’s two trustees is Sabah al Mukhtar, a man George Galloway has called “my right hand” in the first convoy.

Sabah al Mukhtar passes the Daryl Bradford Smith anitsemitic lunatic test with flying colours. You can listen to them here. Note Sabah on the antisemitic hoax “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion”:

At one time or another there was this talk of the Protocol of Zion and everybody said that it was a put-up job, it’s not true, it is not factual, all sorts of accusations of this book. But at the end of the day, let’s assume they are all correct, that this is really not a real book and it was not the Protocols of Zion. This is an incredible insight, some hundred years ago, to show what the position nowadays. The control over the media, the education, the law, the medicine.

Viva Palestina is under investigation by the Charity Commission. This takes some doing when the commission typically turns a blind eye to obvious abuses of its counterterrorism guidelines and violations of financial sanctions against Hamas.

The Bank of England, as agent for Her Majesty’s Treasury, advises that there is as a result a binding and directly applicable obligation in Community law to freeze all funds, other financial assets and economic resources of Hamas, and not to make any funds, other financial assets and economic resources available to Hamas: Article 2(1) of Regulation 2580/2001.

Nice one, Ken.

Hamas is an oppressive gang run by an oligarchy. Living under their exceedingly brutal rule is the opposite of Freedom”

One no more bring “Freedom for Palestine” by funding Hamas than one can fuck for chastity.

Ken must still be wondering why he was voted out of office.

Can’t possibly think of any reasons why!

Ken is a Lefty, ergo every non-westerner is oppressed by the west, all
‘westerners’ are exploiters, all non-’westerners’ are exploited and are to be supported without hesitation, especially those who are in anyway whatsoever claiming to be exploited by either the great Satan exploiters and the little Satan exploiters.

Ken and George, two cheeks of the same, indeed now mythical, unwashed Arse.

They didn’t call him Red Ken because he liked to wear red lipstick, you know.

CONCERNING SABAH AL-MUKHTAR AND
‘THE PROTOCOLS OF THE LEARNED ELDERS OF ZION’

A hoax is done in fun; a scam is intended to enrich the perpetrators. It isn’t always easy to distinguish between the two, however; the bigfoot hoax began as pure fun but ended up as a modest money-maker for the family who began the fun.

As I understand the story, the ‘Protocols’ tale is as follows:

The ‘Dirty Tricks’ department of the Okhrana, the Russian Secret Police, decided to forge a text which would make the lower orders and the discontented petty intelligentsia distrust Jews, especially those Jews involved in Liberal, democratic and / or revolutionary politics.

The task of forging such a text was slipped over to people in the ‘Black Hundreds’ an anti-semitic and strongly Russian-national-chauvinist body.

The job was then farmed out to a penny-a-line journalist, who threw together any odds and ends which happened to be handy, including parts of a novel published some years before.

From such very hasty, unsystematic and unpromising beginnings, the ‘Protocols’ has proven an international best-seller in scores of languages.

My own English-language copy was published in Karachi and fresh new editions can be bought in the big bookshop at Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Malaysia.

Cue for Venichka to support Livingstone on the grounds that he was the best Major or some such nonsense. Ken was always an antisemite from here to China.

No surprise about the Brady Centre being the venue. While attention has been on Pakistani communities in the midlands and the north something very nasty has been going on in Tower Hamlets with its IFE controlled council and pots of Saudi money at the Islamic Centre two minutes walk from the Brady. A bit ironic that the Brady started out in life as a Jewish youth club.

My Irish grandmother always said, show me your company and I,ll tell you what you are”. If you get on a platform with Jew haters then you are as bad, end of story.

Fatah won’t talk to Abbas because Abbas refuses to endorse a UN vote on Goldstone report.

How does Palestine get “free” when one half is fighting the other. I think we SHOULD send money to the Palestinians.. Send it to Abbas to wipe out Hamas.

I laugh at how people are duped into supporting Gaza. Its like the Isle of Man firing rockets at the UK coast, being told to stop several times, refusing to stop and then crying that it got a massive response. As far as Gaza is concerned, Fuck-off and don’t bother me”.

Ken’s a bit of a twat, he pretty much always has been. One predictably prone to knee-jerk support for the usual Orwellian inversion tropes popular with all too many on the Left. Tropes that the more grounded self identifying Lefties generally grow out of by their mid 30s.

Ken’s one of those Lefties who become self parodies as they approach their dotage.

He called him “his right hand”? Why? Did George wipe his arse with Sabah or what?

Ken’s not a bit of a twat, he’s a national treasure like Tony Benn, Tam Dalyell and Brian Haw. Comedy quiz shows and a regular Today programme slot are his forever. I hear he’s in line for this year’s St Hugh of Lincoln Prize.

Apparently Hamas needs every penny that it can get:

As I recall, Nick Cohen noted in “What’s Left” that Ken Livingstone was an apologist/supporter of the vile Gerry Healy to the bitter end. Livingstone isn’t just a sickhead about Israel and Palestine. He’s a died-in-the-wool toady for totalitarian movements led by creeps who shamelessly use and abuse the people whose welfare they supposedly care about.

Cue for Venichka to support Livingstone on the grounds that he was the best Major or some such nonsense.

How would it be nonsense? Livingstone even in losing was supported by nearly half of all Londoners – and there are more people living in London than in Israel. Also so far the Labour party has been quite unable so far to find another Mayoral candidate with his popularity amongst ordinary Londoners. Whatever your own global pre-occupations (and whatever Livingstone’s crazy adventures into a world of international politics that was outside his remit) nothing stops Livingstone being the best Mayor for London or stops anyone having the right to say he is. If there is a better Mayor lets hear about him (because it sure as fuck isn’t Boris!)

This site has more ‘news’ articles about George Galloway than just about any other. That’s funny and desperate at the same time.

But would you get the same amount of visitors if you didn’t pander to the cuntishly shrill little attitudes shown here?

Oh I dunno, I’m sure they’ll put someone up next time also capable of coming second.

If there is a better Mayor lets hear about him (because it sure as fuck isn’t Boris!)

Tacit sexisim aside possibly Shahid Malik, Lord Ahmed or even Harriet Harman.

Graham
  8 October 2009, 5:28 pm

Well should they want Harriet no doubt they know where they can get her…

Still, a couple more years of Boris and we’ll be back to no car moving fast enough in London to have a crash so maybe Hattie will do (not that ordinary Londoners will take to her like they did to Ken.)

Flaming Fairy

Thank God we voted him out.

and we’ll be back to no car moving fast enough in London to have a crash

In the CC zone, it’s already like that pretty much.

Graham: So did Livingstone made the trains in London run on time?

Gordon Bennet
  8 October 2009, 10:02 pm

Nick,
Ken has been a self-parody and a total twat all his life. I would say that he holds positions that most well-adjusted people grow out of around 17, not 30.

Gordon Bennet
  8 October 2009, 10:08 pm

not that ordinary Londoners will take to her like they did to Ken

Graham is an adolescent lefty, ergo he knows what “ordinary Londoners” think.

I was a very “ordinary” Londoner for two stints of that shit, and nobody I knew could say his name without spitting or at least a four-letter word.

Flaming Fairy
  8 October 2009, 10:17 pm

Well done Boris

Er no – it was like that before Boris was voted in. The CC stopped working to control congestion about a year after its inception.

Graham
  8 October 2009, 10:30 pm

Graham: So did Livingstone made the trains in London run on time?

I fear that particular accomplishment may be beyond any human capability.

Graham is an adolescent lefty, ergo he knows what “ordinary Londoners” think.

Gordon by contrast, is a pre-adolescent nazi spewing sub Goebbels kindergarten propaganda. (Anyway have a nice day.)

Er no – it was like that before Boris was voted in.

Er, no it wasn’t.

Flaming Fairy
  8 October 2009, 10:32 pm

Er, no it wasn’t

Oh, it certainly was. Clearly you don’t spend much time in Central London. The CC worked for about a year and then people just got used to it. And public transport is still shit, with Ken’s bendy buses perhaps the shittest aspect of it.

Graham
  8 October 2009, 10:40 pm

Oh, it certainly was. Clearly you don’t spend much time in Central London.

No but I have spent the last thirty years living 3 miles from central London and between two of the biggest roads leading into central London from the South East direction so I recognise quite clearly when somebody is talking utter bullshit for propaganda purposes.

As for the bendy buses certainly as a passenger I found them rather good.

Flaming Fairy
  9 October 2009, 8:42 am

No

As I suspected. I live and work in central London – the CC has done sweet FA to address traffic congestion.

I recognise quite clearly when somebody is talking utter bullshit for propaganda purposes

You can “quite clearly” read your own posts – well done.

Graham
  9 October 2009, 9:04 am

That’s a bit of a sad retort. I’ll put it down to you having been caught out bullshitting.

Flaming Fairy
  9 October 2009, 10:32 am

Well, you can continue to claim I am bullshitting while you sit in a traffic jam in a bendy bus. What would be bullshit is if you tried to claim those traffic jams magically appeared as soon as Boris became Mayor – that would be very very silly, wouldn’t it?

Graham
  9 October 2009, 6:26 pm

Boris has been Mayor for nearly 18 months – try again…
