Suicide Watch

Eleven people are confirmed dead and about 40 have been injured in a suicide bomb attack on Pakistan’s Intelligence headquarters in Peshawar. The explosion was, according to The Telegraph, so powerful that it was heard in neighbouring towns 40km away.

The Telegraph story also notes that a second suicide attack occurred a few hours later, killing at least two and injuring nine.

The BBC has a photo story of the Peshawar attack, while the Associated Press has a summary of the worst attacks over the past month, which have left almost 400 people dead.

Is there any way we could get the pirates fighting the suicide bombers?

We would have to give the wheels for their boats as Peshawar is a long way inland, but it could just work. Hmmmm!

This International war on Iskamic insurgents makes Northern Ireland look like a picnic. George Bush opened his Gob up and said it was a Crusade,-So what message doe’s that send out?

One of the only good things Major and then Blair did was to set the foundations for dialogue and understanding in Northern Ireland to reduce the conflict We could really start by doing something practical about the Gazza as the Palestinians are now prisoners in their own homeland under Zionist oppression!

‘We could really start by doing something practical about the Gazza as the Palestinians are now prisoners in their own homeland under Zionist oppression!’

How would doing something about a retired English soccer player help?

Yeah, I was confused too. Maybe he meant “Geezer” or “Giza” but I don’t there are any Palestinians who are ” prisoners in their own homeland under Zionist oppression!” EITHER!

I have absolutely no idea what WAG meant and I suspect neither did she.

I understand he has a drinking problem and suffers from depression. I’m sure he’d appreciate some help.

Re Gaza – sorry WAG but it ain’t occupied any more. You can’t blame the Jooooos if the idiots in charge want to run it into the ground. Maybe they should spend some of their Iranian dollars on infrastructure instead of rockets, what do you think? Or do you think they should just buy bigger rockets?

Comment by ‘Jihadwatch’ on latest Islamic jihad bombing in Peshawar:

“Here, jihadist warfare imitates Arnold Schwarzenegger’s ‘Commando’: ‘I like you. That’s why I’m going to kill you last.’ In other words, collaborating with the jihadists has not spared the ISI, but only somewhat delayed their becoming a target.”

Well, Pakistan’s ISI has been aiding and abetting Islamists/taliban for years now. What was supposed to have been a game plan to attack and capture Indian Kashmir has now turned against them with a vengence. I haven’t any sympathy, and although the Taliban are to be hated, the ISI probably deserves what it got.

The ISI, the Pakistani intelligence and security agency was the target of this bombing. Truly, the tiger that Pakistan created is coming back to eat them. The ISI has been directly involved with the life of jihadi terrorist organisations for two decades, the Lashkar e Tayibba had the remit of launching terrorist attacks in India, the Mumbai machine gunners were from that organisation, and they have been indulgent to the Taliban too. All of this, so that Pakistan could use jihadis against India as hush-hush state policy. And now look – they have lost control, and the Frankenstein monster has turned on its master. You set the fire expecting it to consume your neighbour, and it ends up burning you to death. Pakistan, you are the authors of your own destruction.

The ISI should now understand the meaning of the old saying: He who digs a grave for others will himself fall into the pit.
